Romans 10:17 says, “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” And James 1:22 says, “But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves”.
Those that walk by faith – live and operate in the fact of the Word of God. Every day we have a choice to live a life of faith or a life of the flesh. By choosing a life of faith we have confidence in God and not in ourselves, but if we live in the flesh we lose confidence in God. “And we have such trust through Christ toward God. Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God” (2 Corinthians 3:4-5).
Faith is when you stop believing what you see and start seeing what you believe. And most of the time it comes down to a very simple thing… we don’t ask. Jesus tells us, “…Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you. Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full” (John 16:23-24). Think about what Jesus said, “Until now you have asked nothing in My name.” Up until that point no man had asked for anything in the name of Jesus, but now He was telling His disciples, He was telling us that all power and authority is given to Him and whatever you ask in His name, you will receive it. The fact is God always hears us when we come in faith and He is more eager to answer than we are to ask.
The Bible says that, we have all been given a measure of faith (Romans 12:3), but if we don’t use the measure of faith we have been given then our faith will not grow, the miraculous will not happen, the healing power of God will not manifest and the kingdom of God will not advance.
Release your faith today and see God do the miraculous. Eternity depends on it and everything we do must make an eternal impact and difference, so share your faith with others, lead them to Jesus Christ and you will see God do great things!
