Jesus wants every believer to be endued with supernatural power.
You have supernatural enemies and if you have supernatural enemies then you need supernatural power to live victoriously. Therefore, it is Jesus’ desire that His church be supernaturally equipped.
Jesus said, “And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.” Luke 24:49
So many people are barely making it through life, just dragging through life and the fact is we can’t do it using our own abilities and strength. It is not by human power or might, but by My Spirit saith the Lord.
Thank God we are not alone in this world. God has sent forth the Holy Ghost into the world to be our HELPER, to be our STRENGTHENER, to be our COMFORTER, to be our ADVOCATE, to be our STANDBY. Thank God for the Holy Ghost!
The Holy Ghost not only came to give us the new birth, but also came to inhabit your body and give you strength and power and help you in every area and aspect of life.
When you are born of the Spirit then you have got the right to receive the fullness of the Holy Ghost. The Baptism in the Holy Ghost will revolutionize your life.
Jesus talked about the Holy Ghost and demonstrated power by the Holy Ghost because He was full of the Holy Ghost. “And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost…” Luke 4:1. “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.” Acts 10:38
Jesus did what He did because He was full of the Holy Ghost and He wants you full of the Holy Ghost, so you will be empowered to do the same works He did, and even greater works than He did. “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do…” John 14:12
If you want to demonstrate pure heavenly power then you must have a personal relationship with the Holy Ghost. The more you yield to the Holy Ghost the more His power will manifest in and through you.
