The Anointing Is For You To Excel In Every Area of Life
When the Holy Spirit comes, He comes to empower you. The baptism of the Holy Spirit and Fire positions you on a new plane of existence, a covering of the divine presence and a power that burns in your very bones. The baptism of the Holy Spirit is the great essential power of victorious life and service, and by this supernatural force you will advance and excel in every area of your life.
Acts 10:38 says, “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.” Jesus received that anointing as He came up out of the water and the Holy Spirit descended on Him like a dove. It was only then when His earthly ministry began. Jesus spent thirty years in preparation for three and a half years of earthly ministry when many only spend three and a half years in preparation for thirty years of ministry. Too many start without the anointing and burn out or fail latter, but it is only when you are anointed that you are supernatural equipped to accomplish the God given mandate. The truth is without the anointing we are finished, without the anointing, nothing matters. We must get the anointing first and then everything else will line up with the eternal plan of God.
Jesus depended on the anointing to accomplish His earthly ministry and wants us to do the same so that we can accomplish our earthly ministry as well. The fact is if every believer truly depended on the anointing their lives would be dramatically different and the world as a whole would be a different place today. The anointing is for every believer and when you yield to the Holy Spirit, more of the anointing can then flow in and through your life. 1 John 2:27 says, “But the anointing which ye have received of Him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in Him.” We can see in scripture there are different kinds of anointing’s. Ephesians 4:7 says, “But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.” There is grace to preach, teach, heal, deliver, and sing and so on. The anointing is there for every aspect of your life – not just for ministry. There’s even the anointing to create wealth. (Deut. 8:18) The anointing is for daily life, work, marriage, play, and every area.
Romans 12:4-8 says, “4 For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office: 5 So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another. 6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith; 7 Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching; 8 Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.”
God has a specific purpose that is unique to you, so find out what your calling is, what your gifting’s are, and what you are anointed to do – and do it. When you do the limitation will be removed and God will perform the miraculous through your life.
