The Word of God says, “the just shall live by faith” (Romans 1:17) and “For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace” (Romans 8:5-6). We must not allow our life to be ruled by the flesh, but rather allow the Holy Spirit to develop our spirit to be strong; “…to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man” (Ephesians 3:16). When we stay in a place where we are continuously yielded to the Holy Spirit, we come into a place where we are Spirit-driven, so we do not compromise.
